My grandparents lived in Riverton, WY which is southeast of Jackson Hole/Yellowston. When I was a kid we'd visit them and usually make the trip up to Yellowstone. I will always remember there is a bend in the road where you first see the Tetons stretched out in front of you. It's the most beautiful site! To this day, I get chills when I see those mountains. Another interesting story, my cousin Karen Ferguson is the architect in charge of the restoration project on the Utah State Capital building in Salt Lake City. It is a 2 or 3 year project which started after your visit. She has an office on the site and oversees every aspect of the remodeling. We have 3 architects in our family; my husband, Karen and another cousin, Derek who lives in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Perhaps one day you'll visit the remodeled capital building.
KathyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
