Here's my entry for Krissy's Photo Scavenger Hunt#86.
The subject was A photo of your choice. This can be anything old or new.
I decided to put on a photo of a Peruvian Indian lady I took in Cusco, Peru in March. I loved how she looked when she didn't know I was taking the photo, it was just so natural!
The other two are of Nina and one of Katinka, she was six months old and had just been spayed, hence the big chunk out of her fur! I shall also post the same entry in to my photo journal so anyone can go over and look at the pics.

Here's my entry. I've just spent half an hour washing and polishing to do this!! I've been collecting shot glasses for some time now, I got most of them in the States but a few from elsewhere. There's a couple more photos on it too, don't know how they got there! I didn't realise how dusty the glasses were till I went to photograph them! Thanks Krissy for making me clean them!

This is my entry for Krissy's Photo Scavenger Hunt #81 hosted by Val . The subject is things that make a noise.
My first thought for an entry was my cats, you wouldn't believe what stompy feet they have when running around. They sound like a herd of horses!
I decided on this photo I took in La Paz, Bolivia of the cathedral bells of the cities' old Incan cathedral. They were right opposite my hotel so I can vouch for the fact they made a noise! I felt like Quasimodo .... clutching my ears and calling 'The bells, the bells!'

My entry this week is a photo I took in 2002 on a visit to Scotland. The location is Queens View at Loch Tummel. This was Queen Victoria's favourite view in Scotland, it was certainly very majestic there!

Photo Scavenger Hunt#77.

This is my entry for Photo Scavenger hunt #77.
Go over and visit Val at  Photo Scavenger Hunt #77... she's doing this for Krissy, her sister while Krissy's at Hope Lodge with John.
I couldn't decide which to use, can I put in four Val?!
The first one I took in Rio de Janeiro from the top of the Christ The Redeemer statue overlooking Guanabara Bay.
The second I took at Iguassu Falls, the spray from the falls produced this beautiful rainbow.
Number three I took in New Hampshire last fall, I loved the bright colour of this maple tree.
Finally number four is another I took at Iguassu Falls in Brazil this March.

Hope you like them, I think nature is just so impressive.

Las Vegas.

I've just added the photos of Las Vegas. It was beautifully hot there (105F!) and great to see all these famous hotels in real life. On our way to Las Vegas we drove along Route 66 and stopped at a great little ice cream parlour. The owner was so funny and as long as you had time to stand and wait while he deliberately mixed up orders and gave out one inch high ice cream cones to anyone who dared asked him to hurry it was fine! He was a real character, it was lovely to meet someone like him!
I hope you enjoyed the pics from this tour that started way back in Denver, it was one of the best holidays I've had, the scenery was amazing and so diverse, ranging from mountains to steaming geysers and deserts, what more could you ask for?!!
